MT. AIRY, Ohio (WKRC) - Police arrest a man for a homicide in Mt. Airy. They didn't have to look far. Anquan Williams was already in jail for other crimes.

Police believe Williams shot two people at an apartment building on Shadymist Lane on August 31. Parrish Perkins, 19, was found in a stairwell. He died at the hospital. A second victim was also hurt.

Anquan was previously arrested for an aggravated burglary and kidnapping in Forest Park on September 25. Police believe he was one of four men who forced their way into a home, robbed and pistol-whipped a woman and then took her toddler.

Police spotted the SUV seen leaving the scene and chased it. It ended in Springfield Township. Four people got out and ran and left the toddler behind.

Police only caught up with Williams.

A Green Township police dog collapsed and died while searching for the suspects.
