CLINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - A Texas truck driver was allegedly hauling cocaine in his tractor trailer as he drove through Clinton County.
Troopers stopped his tractor-trailer at a northbound weight scale on I-71 on March 11.
Troopers say they smelled marijuana coming from the truck. During a search, the troopers found 11 pounds of cocaine and 5 grams of marijuana. They also found a loaded handgun.
The drugs are worth $433,792 according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Terrance Sample, 26, was arrested and charged with possession and trafficking in cocaine, as well as misdemeanor marijuana possession.
If convicted, Sample could face up to 22 years in prison and a $40,000 fine.
