Man arrested after son killed, father shot in Over-the-Rhine

OVER-THE-RHINE, Ohio (WKRC) - Police have arrested a man after a shooting injured father and killed his adult son in Over-the-Rhine on Monday morning.

Police say that they have arrested 33-year-old Markus Bell for murder and felonious assault.

Investigators say they might have been shot at Findlay Park after a fight. The father and son made their way to the fire station at McMicken Avenue and Vine Street.

The father, who is in his 40s, was taken to the hospital. He is expected to survive. His 21-year-old son, Shawn Kelley Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene.
