University of Cincinnati medical students rally against gun violence
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Doctors and medical students at the University of Cincinnati rallied to reduce gun violence.
The rally was one of many held across the country put on by the nonpartisan group called SAFE, which stands for Scrubs Addressing the Firearms Epidemic. The UC College of Medicine is starting a new chapter.
SAFE wants to fund research to help doctors have conversations with their patients about guns.
The rally at UC included speakers whose lives have been impacted by gun violence.
