Visit Cincy asks to host NFL Draft in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) - Visit Cincy has told the NFL it would like to host the NFL draft in 2027, 2028 or 2029, CEO Julie Calvert said Friday.

Calvert made her remarks at the annual Visit Cincy meeting.

For the NFL, "those are the next open years," Calvert said. "We wanted to sign the documents with the Bengals and let them know now that we're interested."

If the city did win a bid for the draft for those years, the region plans to have finished building a new headquarters hotel downtown by then.
