Walk held to help those suffering from rare skin disease
CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A walk to help those suffering from what is known as “the worst skin disease you’ve never heard of” was held on Saturday, May 13.
Epidermolysis Bullosa, or EB, is a rare genetic disease that makes a person’s skin as fragile as a butterfly’s wings.
The walk was started by a west side Cincinnati family, the Kissell’s, who have two children with EB. Five hundred people showed up to the 10th anniversary walk at Miami Whitewater.
More than $30,000 was raised.
