Wanted suspect in brutal Pleasant Ridge assault arrested
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Cincinnati Police have arrested a man accused of assaulting a woman, forced her to clean up her own blood and shower and assaulted her again. Jordan Benjamin is charged with felonious assault, aggravated burglary, kidnapping, abduction and faces a gun charge.
Cincinnati Police say Benjamin broke into a home on Bosworth Place in Pleasant Ridge in May. He was armed with an AK-47.
Benjamin is accused of threatening to kill the victim and beating her until she was unconscious. When she regained consciousness, police say he forced the victim to clean up her own blood in the apartment and shower, then beat her again. She managed to escape to a neighbor's home to call 911.
Benjamin was featured on Local 12's Crimestoppers Alert on Monday. He'll appear in court on Wednesday.
