Warren County man sentenced for buying the drugs that led to his wife's overdose death
WARREN COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - A judge sentenced a Clearcreek Township man to four years in prison for providing the drugs that led to his wife's overdose death. Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell said Kevin Conner, 53, previously pleaded guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter, corrupting another with drugs and drug possession.
Emergency crews were called to the couple's home on January 27. They found Patricia Karrick-Conner dead from an overdose.
Conner told police that they used heroin together but she'd only use it when he bought it. She would drive him to the dealer while he'd make the actual purchase.
According to toxicology reports, Karrick-Conner died from multi-drug intoxication of fentanyl and related drugs.
