NEW MIDDLETOWN, Ind. (WKRC) - The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down in New Middletown, Indiana on Friday.


The tornado extensively damaged much of the area in Harrison County. Trees were knocked down, roofs were torn off buildings, and the strong winds threw debris around far and wide.


Police in the area say that they do not believe any injuries have been reported as a result of the tornado.

A Tornado Watch has been issued for much of the Tri-State until 9 p.m. Friday.
