Police arrest London jogger seen pushing woman into road

LONDON (WKRC) - London police have arrested a man who was caught on camera pushing a woman into the road as a bus was coming by.

The 41-year-old man was taken into custody Thursday, August 10 on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

The video is from a May 5th incident on the Putney Bridge over the Thames River.

After being made public, the video quickly went viral.

The jogger knocks the 33-year-old woman to the ground and a bus swerves, narrowly missing the woman.

The woman suffered minor injuries.

The jogger went back across the bridge about 15 minutes later, but ignored the woman who then tried to speak with him.

The suspect remains in police custody.
