CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The Bengals are reportedly hiring former Temple and University of Miami (Florida) head coach Al Golden as linebackers coach.
The move was reported by Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
The 50-year-old Golden served as Detroit Lions linebackers coach the past two seasons, and he replaces Tem Lukabu, who left the Bengals after the 2019 season to become defensive coordinator at Boston College.
He was the Lions tight ends coach in 2016 and 2016.
He was coach at Miami from 2011-15 and compiled a 32-25 record. That came after a stint as Temple head coach from 2006-10 during which his teams went 27-34, but were 17-8 the last two seasons.
