CINCINNATI (WKRC) - It's hard to believe that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady threw his first NFL pass in 2000 and became the full-time starter in 2001, because he is still chucking it around effectively in 2017 at age 40 and is one win from his sixth Super Bowl ring.

Consider that since the 2001 season the Bengals have had 13 quarterbacks throw a pass, and they have actually been one of the most stable teams at the position in that time frame.

The Cleveland Browns have had 25 different quarterbacks start at least one game since the 2001 season.

Since 2001, Brady has launched 8,805 regular-season pass attempts (and another three in a mop-up role as a rookie in 2000) with 1,416 more in the playoffs.

He has been extremely durable, starting the final 14 games in place of Drew Bledsoe in 2001 and all 16 games in every season since with the exception of 2008, when he suffered a season-ending knee injury in the opening game, and in 2016, when the missed the first four games due to an NFL suspension.

Here is a list of Bengals quarterbacks who have thrown at least one pass since the 2001 season (attempts in parentheses):
