Miami's Kramer named MAC East Special Teams Player of the Week
OXFORD, Ohio (WKRC) - Miami punter Kyle Kramer has been named Mid-American Conference East Division Special Teams Player of the Week following the Ohio contest. The announcement was made by the league office on Monday.
Kramer averaged 45.8 yards per punt on six attempts in a 30-28 win over Ohio last Wednesday. With the RedHawks clinging to a 28-21 fourth quarter lead, Kramer downed a punt inside Ohio's one-yard line with seven minutes to go. Three plays later Miami recorded a safety that was eventually the deciding difference in the RedHawks' victory in the Battle of the Bricks.
Kramer and the RedHawks face Northern Illinois on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m.
