Madeira native Benintendi among finalists for AL Rookie of the Year

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Madeira's Andrew Benintendi put on a show this season with the Boston Red Sox, and the outfielder is a finalist for AL Rookie of the Year.

Benintendi finished the year batting .271 with 20 homers and 90 RBI in his first full season as a major leaguer.

The other two finalists include the favorite, Yankees phenom outfielder Aaron Judge, and Orioles first baseman Trey Mancini.
