Elder loses starting QB, still beats Lakota East (WKRC)

MASON, Ohio (WKRC) - Elder's starting quarterback Michael Bittner left with a leg injury on its first drive, but Michael Luebbe didn't miss a beat as the Panthers rolled past Lakota East on Friday night 34-6 in Mason.

Luebbe, the team's running back, ran 18 times for 160 yards and two touchdowns. He also completed 9-of-13 passes for 98 yards and one more score, plus an interception that accounted for the only Thunderhawks points on the return from Michael Howard.

Lakota East committed four turnovers.

Elder advances to the Div. I Region 4 final against Colerain.
