Moeller outlasts St. Xavier 9-3 in extra innings

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - St. Xavier jumped out to a 3-1 lead, but Moeller cames back to win 9-3 in extra innings.

The Crusaders came back to tie the game at three in the top of the 6th inning, and in the 8th inning they exploded for six more runs.

Connor Christenson knocked in three of the nine runs for Moeller. Carter Christenson plated two more.

The Crusaders improved to 17-3 overall and 7-1 in GCL. The Bombers dropped to 10-11 overall, 2-6 in GCL.

Moeller defeated St. Xavier 11-4 on April 12. The teams were scheduled to play a third and final time this regular season on Thursday.
