Barrett and Dobbins claim weekly Big Ten honors following big opening performance

Ohio State's J.T. Barrett and J.K. Dobbins received top honors from the Big Ten following their big performances in the season opener.

Dobbins was named Freshman of the Week while Barrett was named co-Offensive Player of the Week.

Barrett passed for over 300 yards, completing 20-of-35 passes while accounting for four total touchdowns including one on the ground.

Dobbins carried the ball 29 times and ran for 181 yards, setting a record for most yards rushing by a true freshman in his opening game. Dobbins also caught two passes for 24 yards, giving him 205 all-purpose yards on the night.

Ohio State will take on Oklahoma this Saturday at Ohio Stadium. ESPN's College Gameday will be making an appearance.
