Reds activate Friedl, send Benson back down

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The Reds on Tuesday reinstated from the 10-day injured list outfielder TJ Friedl and optioned outfielder Will Benson to Louisville.

Friedl is batting a team-high .306 and has a team-high OPS for any player with more than 42 at bats as well at .818.

Benson, who began the season with the Reds before getting off to a 1 for 20 start and being sent down to Louisville, is 1 for 25 on the season.
