CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Major League Baseball free agency is underway, and it's no surprise but the Reds did not make a qualifying offer to All-Star shortstop Zack Cozart

The qualifying offer this year in baseball is a one-year $17.4 million deal.

The absence of a qualifying offer doesn't mean the Reds and Cozart won't reach an agreement in free agency.
