Davis has surgery, won't be ready for spring ball

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - RHP Rookie Davis had surgery to repair the labrum and to remove a bone spur in his right hip.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Bryan Kelly in New York.

Davis is not expected to be ready for spring training.

The rookie was 1-3 with an 8.63 ERA in 2017, pitching 24 innings in seven games.
