Reds pitcher signs minor league deal with Indians

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The Cleveland Indians have signed Lisalverto Bonilla to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.

The 27-year-old right-handed pitcher appeared in 10 games for the Cincinnati Reds last season, posting a 1-3 record with an 8.10 ERA. In 15 career big league appearance, Bonilla is 4-3 and has a 6.28 ERA.

His first start for Cincinnati was a complete game effort on May 13 at San Francisco. Bonilla threw eight innings and allowed three earned runs in a 3-1 defeat. He made three other starts for Bryan Price and failed to register a victory.
