Cincinnati junior Jacob Evans to declare for NBA draft without agent
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Cincinnati junior Jacob Evans has declared for the 2018 NBA draft.
Evans isn't going to hire an agent yet, which would allow him to withdraw from the draft and return to Cincinnati after receiving feedback from NBA teams.
He announced the decision on Twitter Saturday.
A 6-foot-6 wing, Evans averaged 13.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.3 steals in 31 minutes per game. He shot 42.7 percent from the field and 37 percent (60-162) from 3-point range.
Opinions on Evans currently have him anywhere between a late first round pick to a late second round pick. ESPN has him ranked as the 24th prospect in the 2018 draft, while NBADraft.net has him projected as the 53rd pick out of 60.
