CINCINNNATI (WKRC) - The University of Cincinnati announced on Wednesday that assistant baseball coach Kyle Sprague and Director of Operations Andy Nagel have been relieved of their duties.
The school took the action on May 17.
A statement by the school said the dismissals came on May 8 as a result of an internal review of infractions being conducted in conjunction with the NCAA.
Because of that no further details were released by the UC Athletics department.
Sprague spent two years with head coach Scott Googins at Xavier before joining him at Cincinnati in 2017. Nagel has been on the Bearcats staff since 2015 following eight years at Moeller.
UC's season ended on Wednesday with a loss to East Carolina in the AAC Tournament.
