Kentucky's Ware announces he's entering transfer portal as Dickinson picks Kansas

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - University of Kentucky forward Lance Ware announced on Twitter on Thursday that he is entering the transfer portal.

It interestingly comes on the same day that Michigan center Hunter Dickinson announced on Twitter he is transferring to Kansas after considering Kentucky.

It's possible Kentucky gets center Oscar Tshiebwe back for the 2023-24 season. He announced on April 7 that he was putting his name into the NBA Draft, but is getting feedback about his chances of playing in the league and hasn't made a decision to keep his name in the draft or return to UK.

The 6-foot-9, 223-pound Ware played 77 games over the last three seasons at UK, nine of which were starts. He averaged 1.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per game in 9.2 minutes per game.
