Annie Brown

Annie Brown joined Local12 in May of 2023 as a reporter after spending nearly two years as an anchor/reporter at ABC 36 in her hometown of Lexington, Ky.

During her time there, Annie covered some of Kentucky's biggest stories: Eastern Kentucky's deadly, devastating flooding in 2022, the COVID-19 pandemic, women's healthcare and education policy in Kentucky, and the ongoing impacts of the war in Ukraine on communities in the area.

Annie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at Asbury University in 2021. She co-anchored and co-produced Asbury's first live Election Day coverage in 2020.

In her free time, she enjoys working out, exploring new places, and being with friends and family. Not to mention, she's also a huge football/Bengals fan.
