Cassy most recently reported for NBC 10 Boston covering important news stories such as the Merrimack Valley explosions, 2019 college admissions bribery scandal and New Hampshire primary.

While in Boston, she created a series on women-owned businesses in the Boston area called BossTown. The series ran 30 episodes long and told the inspirational journey of women all across Massachusetts that have made their dreams come true in varying industries.

Cassy began her career working for Good Morning America and Nightline as an associate producer. She worked on top stories varying across topics like the Newtown shooting, Hurricane Sandy and Camp Lejeune water contamination.

Cassy moved from behind-the-camera to in front and worked as an anchor in Monterey, California. She reported on the Boston Bombings for her station by cellphone as she was running the marathon that year and was 75 feet from the finish line when the second bomb went off.

After 18 months out west, Cassy moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan and spent nearly three years there as investigative reporter and anchor. Cassy had the opportunity to feature a Michigan man who founded one of the first hospitals in the village of Werkok in South Sudan. She took a month-long trip living in Tukul to document the story.
