Eric DoBroka

Meteorologist Eric DoBroka joined the Local 12 team in May of 2023 from KRQE in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Eric has also worked in several other markets: Reno, Nevada; Dothan, Alabama; and Marquette, Michigan.

He has extensive experience covering everything from hurricanes to tornado outbreaks to wildfires and dust storms. Eric has a passion for the science of meteorology.

He’s no stranger to Ohio. Eric is originally from the Cleveland area and graduated from The Ohio State University’s Atmospheric Sciences Program with a degree in meteorology and a minor in geography.

In addition to his love of weather, Eric is also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking and getting outside to explore nature.
