Kristen Cornett

Kristen joined the Local 12 team in November 2021. She spent the last six years working at WKEF/WRGT in Dayton, Ohio. Kristen started her career working as a news producer and in 2018, she moved to an on-air role as a traffic anchor.

Kristen graduated from the University of Toledo earning a degree in Communication and Spanish, specializing in Broadcast Journalism. In addition to learning all about being a professional journalist, she loved studying Spanish and completed a study abroad trip in Madrid, Spain. Kristen is no stranger to Cincinnati. She grew up not far away in Springboro and has spent the last five years living in the area with her husband, two-year-old son, and dog Cooper.

Outside of work, Kristen loves to stay active while spending time with her family. They spend a lot of time at area parks and playgrounds and during the summer, spending time on the water while boating on Lake Cumberland.
