Luke Jones joined Local 12 from Memphis where he spent his time chasing breaking news and exposing problems as a reporter for WREG.
While in Memphis, Luke uncovered the fact that a Shelby County psychologist was unlicensed, forcing the county to rescreen hundreds of sheriff's deputies, firefighters and paramedics. His weeks of coverage of the county health department's mishandling of the COVID vaccine rollout culminated in the health director stepping down and the state stripping the health department of its vaccine responsibilities.
Luke's work in Memphis has taken him across the country, including as the only Tennessee reporter on the ground at a Texas church where 26 people were killed in a shooting.
A Houston native, Luke is a graduate of Boston University.
