Tera Blake

Meteorologist Tera Blake joined the Local 12 Weather Authority and Good Morning Cincinnati in December of 2016. Tera came from WEWS in Cleveland, Ohio, with over 10 years of forecasting experience and several awards including the main meteorologist on a twice-awarded Emmy-winning morning show. Before Cleveland, she called Charlotte, N.C, and Sherman, Texas, home.

Tera is a farmer's daughter and had an early fascination with thunderstorms and their natural beauty when seen from the countryside. After realizing her passion could be her career, she went to Northern Illinois University to become an Atmospherical Scientist with an emphasis on Broadcast Journalism.

When not watching the skies, Tera is running around after her three young sons. Both Tera and her husband are from Illinois and love that they are close to family in the Midwest. Tera loves her family, her job, sleeping when allowed, exercising and watching movies. Her guilty pleasure is reality television.

Tera looks forward to waking you up with a smile and preparing you and your family before you ever open that front door. She also loves to give personal forecasts for the many events that run our lives throughout the week.
