CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The coldest day of the week lies ahead on Wednesday and with it potentially dangerous driving conditions, says Local 12 meteorologist Tera Blake.

Late Tuesday night, as air temperatures drop into the 20s and snow showers pick up a bit, roads will get colder and we could see some slick spots heading into Wednesday morning. Highs will be struggling to get above freezing. The Tri-State will also see some more snow showers and flurries - especially in the morning.

More rain and snow showers will be possible as another cold front moves through Thursday and this front will push more cold our way for the end of the week and into the weekend. There's even the possibility part of the region could get clipped by another winter storm late in the weekend.

As of Tuesday morning, The Weather Authority believes the big impacts will stay south of the Tri-State.
